Teachers...
you may find it useful to
access a discussion board for frequently asked questions-I will reply, if I know
the answer! Other teachers may reply if they know the answer!
And, as always, more than one of us may need an answer to the same question!
This way, we can share our knowledge and help each other!
Try it out!

Higher-order
thinking skills in Students
This student website and other Google
Tools are often blocked by the web filtering system in the district, so students
must log on and access the resources and tools from home or the local library.
Students must have a valid e-mail account to access these tools and groups, and
they must remember their usernames and passwords, so I suggest writing this
information down and keeping in a place that you may access easily when it is
time to work on your projects.
Student Use of Open Source Resources
See the website below for a
great set of learning tools for students that work on a variety of Operating
Systems, including Windows 98! This
OPEN SOURCE
software enables students to work on projects at school and at home or the
library, and encourages communication with each other in terms of evaluations,
sharing information, or solving problems by working together!
Check out the website at:

Students may access Zoho Writer
to create their stories and Zoho Show to create a presentation of the story that
includes pictures (photographs or images drawn in Microsoft Paint). All pictures
may be uploaded in an online library in the Zoho program. If you have Windows XP
or later, students may use the images and story idea to create a Digital Story
in Microsoft Windows Movie Maker!
